Call me a cynic, but I was so unimpressed by these... I mean, youre telling me for the world eaters one they couldn't have made the head gap mirror the world eaters logo, or something?

And bear in mind i LOOOOOOVE me some FW.

I was underwhelmed too, kinda makes me wonder whether they wouldn't be better served just making icon/glyph sets that can be applied to the base models. That gives you conversion opportunity for other models as well.

i sorta see your point but theyd run the risk of it looking like a hellbrute, and i do like how they redid the head to look like a MK3 (used within the WE legion to inspire terror!)

Seems like a case of 'if it ain't broke (and is already selling really well), don't fix it.'

Agree seems like they could just do one pre-heresy design with extra studs and old mark helmets with a few interchangeable glue-on icons to cover everything. Still a good model though, with a preference for the death guard.

Kinda wish the World Eaters one was more brutal, less scroll-y, would be better for turning to Chaos.
