From an OOP Bandai WWII Elephant and King Tiger in 1/48 scale, the rest of the parts from GW.

Until the new Basilisk/Combo comes out (if ever)...

I still have a Panther (maybe for a Hellhound turret) and a Hetzer (very small, so not sure what to bash it into yet) all by Bandai all in 1/48.

Both weapon Barrels are leftover parts I had from the Shadow-Sword kit...

You could use the Hetzer as a Salamander from IA:1. They both have flamethrower varients to boot.

Medusa's looking very good too.

Are you all kidding? It's a Colossus! That's the first thing I thought of when I saw it!

I think with the gun mounted right up front, that the medusa is definately the best ruleset to use this vehicle.

the bombard or collossus cannon are more "long range" artillery, the short barrel is just because of the sheer callibre of the shell. in fact a really great collossus "count as" would be a "Gustav" railway gun

But I don't think anyone would argue with you if you wanted to try out the collossus rules with this vehicle.

really nice work mate.

Thanks all for the encouragement!

Btw I saw someone had built that railway-gun for 40k (in scale) somewhere on the Internet…

Reminds me of the "Karl" Seige Mortar. Check this out.

Seeing all of these big guns makes this artillery man weak in the knees!
That is a hot conversion!

Agreed. That Tiger 2 turret really works.
