Very nice, love the green on the DG, also very much like the use of the Tartarus style gun on your Champ. The metallics are subtlety grimy and I like the contrasting purple pipes. Your going to try and get a full army done in November ?

as you may be aware, some of us are currently doing a tale of four gamers (bolsconto4g.blogspot.co.uk) and for that i am doing Death Guard. We are doing roughly 350 points per month however this month i am going to have a major blitz and see what i can get done (if i can ever settle on a final army list- the one on my page on the blog is hugely out of date now!)

i have an updated list, majority still the same but i have found a way to get a defence line in and and i have 47 points spare atm, i am debating a rhino with Havoc Launcher (exactly 47 points) to fill that slot and allow me to approach quicker with my meltagun unit....

So I am obviously late to the party, just checked out the blog and there is some awesome painting going on. So now I am playing catch up.

Ok so for starters I have a night scythe and 5 immortals with gauss which I built this afternoon. I also have 3 bases of scarabs to finish. So I think that's 230pts of stuff to do this weekend. Airbrush is going to come in handy here I think, but I won't be relying on it for the whole painting process.

I have book marked the blog and will be adding what I get upto on here.

Yeah I could do, I don't want to gate crash what you guys have started though :) I think it would also be fun though if we shared what were getting upto with the other BOLS guys here in this thread :)

Well, with the flux of my life currently I cannot meet painting deadlines, I have too much to sort out and do.

I will, however, be at BoLSCon.

Well made a start on painting my Night scythe today, I went with my scheme and I like it.

Here is my 1st w.i.p shots

I am trying to paint this army with my airbrush as much as possible but I do intend on adding some golds to the scheme, the pilot has at the moment just been based in bolt-gun, but he will have some hand painted OSL and his shoulder guards and helm will also be in bone.

I know some painters think using an airbrush is a bit of a cop out, but its getting the desired effects I am looking for, a nice clean paint job and I can go quite quickly with this. This model so far has taken only 2 hours to paint.

oh my those necrons are really cool! and yes the airbrush may be easy to use, how do you get it that small though? i tired to do a plasma pistol and it dosnt work properly that close :/

I use a Harder and Steinbeck evolution airbrush, it came with a 0.4 and a 0.2 needle, I used the smaller one to do the osl on the scarabs :)
