Hey everyone

Just hoping for a ruleing here on the subject of independant characters in terminator armour. If say an IC is wearing terminator armour which makes him Relentless would it also make the unit that they are with Relentless or is the bonus solely for that character unlike say Fearless?

Relentlessness is on a by-model basis.

Thanks man, I don't ever want to think that you could make a relentless devestator squad with plasma cannons by just adding an IC ever again.

Ugh. That would be appalling.

Of course, what you can do is put the devs in a rhino. The vehicle can move six inches, and two of the devs can still fire their heavy weapons. Two isn't four, but it isn't bad.

Doesn't help though, they still count as moving if the vehicle moved.

That's what I thought, but when I checked my mini 6th edition rulebook, all I could find was that the vehicle's riders can only fire snap shots if the vehicle moves at cruising speed. Can you quote the rule?

Previous sentence:

Models firing out of a vehicle that moved at Combat Speed count as having moved that turn. Models firing out of a vehicle that moved at Cruising Speed can only fire Snap Shots that turn.

EDIT: Look Tynskel, no cf.!

Funnily enough, this concept does work with an IC with the Slow and Purposeful rule. Not that I know of any SM IC that are SaP and besides, SaP comes with it's own baggage of downsides. just interesting to note really.
