ok well I have a question and it's on the link
http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?25910-Necrons-and-night-fighting
but for the lazy ones
Well I have Imotekh The Stormlord as my HQ and he has the ability to make it night fighting and very dangerous but this raised a puzzle for me.
How are necrons effected by this? Because as we all know they glow, also can they see in the dark or not? I don't think they can but hey who knows.
thats what I want to talk about

You might want to be more clear about what you're asking, rather than just reposting your original thread.
If I understand correctly, what you're asking is this: what's the best way to use Imhotep's Night Fighting power, which seems go against the strengths of most Necron units?
Now, I don't know, since I don't play 'crons, but I'm curious and I'll be watching this thread.

I wouldn't say it goes against their full power it but it seems more like something meant to be used with a monolith or 3 so as to give you the lighting attack and heavy fire they use

I believe the strategy is to use that in combination with Cryptecs with solar pulses (which, iirc, let you ignore night fighting for your turn, but then your opponent is stuck with night fighting.)

A lot of Necron firepower is 24" range. Having Night Fighting on the first turn (while also hitting enemies with lightning to soften them up) means you can get into firing positions and survive well without the downside because you wouldn't have been able to fire a whole lot in the first turn anyway.
That was the case in 5th anyway, I'm not so sure now that you can move and still fire 24", but yeah.
