Does this inculde burgers?

And if I put a wooden skewer through my burger?

alshrive

burgers are a sandwich, however i would class the skewer as putting a defensive item atop your burger....

This would require actually letting go off my sandwich, something that very rarely happens with me and food :)

Looks like fun though.

Having not read the link so not knowing what you're talking about.

I didn't realise you were that way inclined.

if it is between 2 bits of bread i am going to get it! sandwich, manwich, hoagie, sub and i am not above giving a panini a good punch! thinking it is better than other sandwiches just because it is hot and italian!

Define bread...

alshrive

1.Food made of flour, water, and yeast or another leavening agent, mixed together and baked. Unleavened breads still count as breads so don't even begin to think you are smart. i will modify this statement as the smart-bottomed responses begin

Wolfshade

So a wrap is fine and unpunchable as it is a pancake

1.Food made of flour, water, and yeast or another leavening agent, mixed together and baked. for a start. I will modify this statement as the smartarsed responses begin
FTFY
So is an icecream sandwich not a sandwich as it uses wafers?

So flatbreads are exempt?

alshrive

a wrap is not a sandwich however you are leaving yourself open to mocking for intentionally choosing a foodstuff that it is undesirable to punch...

Wolfshade
10-26-2012, 04:10 AM
How about if I were to use unlevened bread MMMDI

alshrive
10-26-2012, 04:13 AM
that will depend are you consuming it for religious reasons (in which case punching it would be well... unkosher) or are you just trying to avoid a sandwich-punch, in which case it contains the word bread and is therefore fair game.

Wolfshade
10-26-2012, 04:20 AM
Purely as sandwich punching avoidance reasons, but it doesn't contain "yeast or other leveling agent"

Of course you have asked for me to come up with smart alec responses

What about chicken tandori nans, the chicken is cooked within the nan so there is only 1 peice of nan.

alshrive
10-26-2012, 04:35 AM
i may not punch the naan bread for fear of being accused of racial hatred via bread!

Wolfshade
10-26-2012, 04:38 AM
So you'll hit the kosher one and not the nan one...

alshrive
10-26-2012, 04:39 AM
hmmmm something about that statement doesn't make me sound like the best guy :S can't possibly figure out what

Psychosplodge

You bread-racist giving preferential treatment to one type of bread.

Wolfshade
10-26-2012, 04:40 AM
Avoiding bread racism but still going out for bread bigotry...

I could just avoid the whole issuie and just have a pub lunch at bugmans

@ Alshrive, if your ever in my neck of the woods feel free to look me up. I will even treat you to lunch in any burger chain you fancy, just so I can watch you run around punching people's food :D

i may need to think about my response to this situation. to quote stephen fry in a bit of fry and laurie

"Is English to ironic to sustain Hitlerian styles?" i feel we may be starting to head towards this as a topic of conversation....

problem is the people need to be familiar with the rules, maybe i need to do 2 visits. the first installing posters around the town/city and then a second visit, during which i will visit sandwiches- violently.

If burgers count, what about McDonalds ones? Trading Descriptions says they legally can't refer to their buns as bread since they don't contain enough of the ingredients to be counted as such.
