From the 3rd of November you will be able to order packs of five Dark Vengeance cultists seperately.

really? missed that. to be fair though Fantasy is a muh more rank and file game where you don't have to worry too much about the look of every individual model and homogeneity in a unit actually supports this.

Only for the Seaguard though.

And it isn't entirely unexpected. But i'm guessing aorund £10 for 5, based on the seaguard price, means a full squad of 35 will cost £70

I figured they would go the Seaguard route, seems weird they didn't make it a 10-man squad though - but hey at least cultists can be bought seperately now.

I'm guessing they will leave Chosen to DV and the only multi-part kit they'll do will be the Helbrute. Pure speculation on my part of course.

Problem is the models aren't interchangable

So will there be a 5 man box of CCW and 5 of Guns? or just one box, which according the pic is guns, and you still have to get DV to get the CCW guys?

Too early to say, we just have that one picture, there is at least one more page of 40k stuff we haven't seen.

Good spot on the translation.

So that 35 man CCW unit....will mean you need to buy 17 boxes (and convert a champion). So only £170 for a big unit :P

Could buy 2 and a half DV's for that and get the unit....

I have to assume it's a "keeping the SKUs simple" issue combined with a "we should get _something_ out there PDQ". They probably decided they only had time to get one frame together to run out the door. It's not like you couldn't just use cadians and/or catachans after all.

I guess we're waiting on "hellbrutes" and will continue to convert loyalist dreads for those?
