Yeah, I put it here so more could see, but I feel WoC as well.

Matches rumours and stuff.

But that means we've only had 1 40K codex in the last year (and a rulebook)

And with rumours of chaos deamons surfacing in the new year...its a good time to be evil

That's consistent with 8th edition, new edition and one army book. Fairly sure anyway.

It really is quite surprising considering they've just had a new edition of 40k...

Agree slow on the dexes but they've caught up on models, we've had:

Nids& wolves
Necrons
Flyers
Book
Daemons 50%
Box
Chaos

6.5 months 40k

Vampires
Empire
Daemons 50%
Warriors of Chaos

3.5 months fantasy

LOTR
Hobbit (assumed December)

2 Months LoTR

Can't expect much more. Odds are we'll get 2-3 codices and an expansion in 2013

It may be hard to resist the lure of Warriors this time around. Especially if Valkia arrives.

Just sayin'.

Also, if the 8th ed. pattern for army book releases holds, expect an absolute slew of 40k books soon. It took a while for Orcs and Goblins to hit (six months?) but then by god they hit. Plus an expansion and a models-only release for Vampires. They even released the Empire book and it was totally second stage to some new paints in that month's WD.

Expect a re-release of the Apoc book as all the PDFs are down, plus it was written for 4th :P
