Lack of rumours...

Either I've missed something, but with just over a week to go until the next WD, we seem to have a distinct lack of rumour....

What gives?

i had been sat at my desk today thinking the same thing. Normally by now i am already spending my wages in my head a week before i get them but this month, i am sat here and my mind is going ":( i am going to have money :(". It is very strange for the forums not to be abuzz with chatter about potential releases by this time of the month! come on people, some of us are getting bored at work here!

Wasn't there also a rumored "second wave" for CSM that was supposed to be hitting? Did that fizzle out? To my knowledge, it would only contain the equivalent models of what you'd get in the Dark Vengeance set. Given long it took GW to release Deffkoptas from Black Reach, I wasn't holding my breath on that.

The new product announcements haven't been showing up until late on Friday my time (Central US) for quite a while. It's late enough that I think they have them queued to only become visible at 12:01 GMT Saturday.

Nearly every Friday, the run a regular article regardless of the product announcements.

Could it be because it's a Warhammer release and no on the BoLS seems very bothered about that system? :p

pretty much I think, the last I heard November was supposed to be a wave of Warriors of Chaos minis with white dwarf rules. Could be the Hobbit at some point, but I would expect to see Friday's article held over to midnight for a big release like that.

I doubt very much the Hobbit will hit before December as there will be so much stuff they can't release until the movie is out. I wouldn't be surprised if there was actually a later release date in December to coincide with the release of the film.

its cause of the hobbit there is going to be a rumour clampdown. this has been said MANY times befor.

It could be the next WD has more than just a back page for the Hobbit, so that could be the reason for lack of rumours.

Though the apparent 'sell or show too soon and no new releases for a while' might have given the final incentive to keep schtum. If that's even true!
