So there is this video. It is of the song "Call Me, Maybe" made up up splices from the various Star Wars movies. It... IS... AWESOME! You can see it here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBM7i84BThE). I have to wonder: who has that much free time?! Sweet Jeebus!!!

"and all the droids chase me"

That is awesome sauce :). Very funny and just a bit nerdy.

But half of the clips are from some films that aren't starwars... :D

Don't like the song, but I prefer this video...

It had scenes from Phantom Menace in. That automatically makes it the worst video ever. Never speak to me again.

Oh was that the non-starwars clips?

As long as they're the scenes with Liam Neeson and not Jar Jar.

That's the thing that really annoys me. Liam and Darth Maul were awesome, that film had so much potential and he ruined it with an annoying child and an indescribably awful alien.

Nope.....they....just.....ruined....everything....

They were kind of annoying characters but how else was he supposed to set the plot to lead to 4-6, my biggest problem was Hayden Christensen's acting in 2-3, though Jar-Jar's character was way over the top for what it needed to be for his part in the plot, so he'd be a close second. I think Lucas was trying to get kids more involved with Jar-Jar.

I don't know but he could have read some of the books of the top two shelves below...

I consider him more of a director than a writer, maybe he should've gotten one of the fan writers to help him out... :p

Jar Jar had no plot use! He was there entirely as a draw to kids (i.e. a commercial one). They even admitted this. And then insulted existing fans by claiming that we didn't get Jar Jar because we weren't kids.

Jar-Jar was there to be duped by palpatine into proposing that crazy legislation that got him all the power. They just needed someone to be kind of dumb and easily manipulated.

The video/song was funny. As for Jar-Jar, while the idea of the character and his role in the Star Wars Universe was "needed." I still found the way Jar Jar was portrayed was insulting to the existing fan base. Definitely, over the top, could have been toned down a bit.

Say what you will about the rest of the movie, Liam Neeson was the best Jedi. Ever.

No that would be Master Yoda.

The old 'I can barely walk' Yoda, or the 'I'm a flipping ninja monkey' Yoda?

No Luke Skywalker was the best Jedi ever, just not in the films...

Obi Wan played by Alec Guinness, there is a reason his name is an anagram of genuine class

To be fair there aren't exactly an abundance of Jedi in any of the trilogy...

Seconded. I think Mace Windu should get a honourable mention for having a unique coloured lightsabre, beating a Sith Lord in a fight and general SLJ badassery.

The film is ambiguous on this. If he has, it's a massive gamble because he's crippled himself with his own lightning and Mace Windu turns him into chunks if Anakin doesn't step in.

It definitely seemed like he let Windu win the fight in the film to me, it was the pivotal point in turning Anakin to the dark side and he probably could've just force pushed Windu out the window.
