Back in 2005 Roberto Cirillo did a bunch of Tau Empire concept art for Games Workshop.
Here's a review - who knows what may be in store for 6th Edition.

Its clear that over the years, Forgeworld has taken several of these design concepts into some of their Tau kits

After the changes brought to the necrons in their last update this is the army I have been most excited for. I started playing 40k as a kid right when tau was released and they have always been in the back of my mind. Maybe it will get me fighting for the greater good again :)

So the stealth suit design was actually used by GW I take it? Otherwise his stealth suit design has very little imagination.
But yeah, I would love a new crisis suit kit that looked like that.

and the badass FW crisis suits. note the weapons are also in the sketches

i know its double the price but those crisis suits are well worth the cash, but the normal 'upgrades' are only a few quid more and these broadsides are way better and only a few quid more anyway

The battle suit designs look good but I really like that insectoid creature. I would love to see a heavy vespid type unit get introduced in the new codex.
