9 dreadnoughts. I'm not sure how feasible this would be at 2,000, though. You'd also have no capacity to hold objectives, but with that much killiness on the table, I'm not sure how much you'd need it.

Is a Furioso Librarian not an HQ choice? I can't remember?

Sadly, no, he isn't.

Elites mate :(

The only 2 chapters I know of that have HQ Dreads are Salamanders, Bray’arth Ashmantle from FW and Space Wolves with Bjorn. Iron Hands should have really Gdolkin as their choice.

Not sure at what this bangs out at points wise, but don't forget at 2000, you can double force org

Good, because death company are expensive as hell. So, to fill your Troops choices with dreadnoughts you'd only need a 15-strong death company and three dreadnoughts.

Really comes down to what the point level is. If you've got unlimited points to play with, then you can double the Blood Angels dreads like so...

HQ - any 2
Elites - 6 Furioso
Troop - 12 Death Company
Heavy - 6 Dreads

But then also remember that you can take allies, which can buff out your dreads a little bit. Vanilla Marines will get you another 2, Space Wolves will get you an HQ one and at least one more, so really you could conceivably fit a whole 28 Dreads into a single force. Granted, you're playing with too many points to put into a regular game anyway, so you might as well just make as many as you want and play Apocalypse at that point.

With 5 WS5 S5 attacks a piece they are well worth it.

if you use the badab war the salamander dread Ashmantle is a HQ choice and if you include a master of the forge you can take dreads as elete and heavy support
