HH list question

I have pieced the few pieces of the legion list together from various posts and sites to help decide what legion I want to do and what to buy my question for someone with the book is about the terminator squads

Can they take a mix of ranged and melee weapons or can the only take ranged weapons or melee weapons? Yes or no will do

Also apart from the armour rules does the catafracti armour have different weapon options and load outs or just the same as Normal terminators?

I'm torn between the rout and ultramarines
