So, someone has managed to set off the buildings fire alarm. Not so bad, accidents happen (burnt toast this time. Either that or I'm about to have a stroke).

Yet it's been going on for 45 minutes so far.

Because some bellend as stolen the key to the fire control panel, meaning we have no way of shutting the effer up. This sucks. If this is followed by two heavily armed and armoured goons dropping off a recently tortured friend, I'm going to thump someone.

It's okay, they'll probably be in flimsy white plastic armor that offers no protection. After easily incapacitating them you can escape the horrid noise! :p

I used to live in an honors dorm (so supposedly housing smart people) and someone set off the alarm by trying to microwave clay! I have no idea what they hoped to accomplish. :rolleyes:

At one job I had (at the Faculty of Arts) the fire alarm went off -- it was so loud that we couldn't work in the front office (where the enquiries counter and my desk was located) -- so we closed the front door and I got paid to sit around for what must've been at least 45 minutes.

We then realised there was an exam upstairs and they would all have to fill out Special Consideration forms :( Then we realised it was an Economics exam, so said forms wouldn't go through our office :cool:
