I haven't had time to really compare the 1.0 and 1.0a to see the differences yet. But it's up!

Q: If a Flyer suffers Locked Velocity and was moving at Cruising
Speed (18"-36"), what speed is its velocity actually locked at? (p81)
A: 36".

Well that much is new - P6, first column, bottom half of page.
No more having to keep track of exactly how far the individual flyer moved the turn it suffered the immobilized result.

Here's what I found. Several moving of FAQ's up a few spots or down a few but also:

Flying Monstrous Creatures – added bullet point regarding moving under the model but still father than 1” from the base.

Tau Crisis Shas’vre now (Jetpack) instead of (Jump)

Added the Tyranid Prime stateline from pg2 of the FAQ (and verified it is a (ch))

I'm still all but speechless how insanely fast they fixed some of their editing errors!!!

Im impressed with their quick FAQs and fixes. Feels like they care about the hobby again (sure they have to be profitable as well)!

No one will argue that you shouldn't make a profit, I'm just glad they're remembering they actually have customers that they need to pay attention to.

So it is just the main rulebook one that changed? I hope these are indeed "living documents" that are kept up to date.

I would be more impressed if they had a way for us to provide feedback. I'll bet, for example, a lot of people are unhappy about how they screwed the Leman Russ. I wish there was a way to let them know.

They fixed the ZFAGFMC error too. They now correctly refer to Zooming Flyers and Swooping Flying Monstrous Creatures.

Honestly, I'm not understanding why so many people are upset about the new LR rule. It make far more sense this way, and crippled two variants? Think of what this has done to things like the Executioner! I can now always fire all the plasma I want with it! Main cannon and sponsons regardless of moving. If I could swap out the hull mount with a plasma gun, I would. They just made my favorite LR that much more powerful.

only the exo is a weak LR . the normal one is the best and they nerfed it . It is as if they made attack bikes with MM worse and those with hvy bolter a bit better .

But all in all a FAQ is good . Sucks for all those new dudes that started this edition , bought armies and now they dont work and all the sells told them they are good for years . how the hell did that smily get here ;/

I might actually be missibg something, but could anybody around here tell me what has changed for the Leman Russ?

Cheers.

It no longer has the Lumbering Behemoth rule and now has the Heavy USR.
So it can never move faster than combat speed, but it always counts as stationary for the purpose of firing.
