Just for fun, here is a WIP of my hellbrute Yum-Yum.

Screw the diet, I'm going to eat the whole box!

The B&W was just an experiment but I accidentally saved over the colour versions.

GS need a little smoothing out, but otherwise he's pretty much done.

Awesome. The mouth is one of the best bits of the model and if i get another one (either as a release or a bits thing) i'll be emphasising it more

That is suitably gribbly!

Bravo! :D

Fun model, I like the marine pressing against the inside of the belly. Maybe tweak the poses of the dead and lifted marines, though? The combat-squat pose looks kinda weird.

Looking good! Cannot wait to see it painted, the Gray colour means it's hard to pick out some of the awesome gory details

VERY well done! I think it makes for a nice diorama. Kudos for being able to pack that much onto the little 60mm disc. Is the half-marine in front a victim of gun? (I can't tell if it's a multi-melta).

OK, quick repose on the sarge's leg and I retook the photo (and promptly messed up the focus)

on the first day the hungry hungry hellbrute ate 1 space marine
on the second day the hungry hungry hellbrute ate 2 imperial legionares
...

on the (10,000 x 356) th day the hungry hungry hellbrute ate the whole of the scarus sector. and he wondered why he wasnt a butterfly yet!

seriously though great job and a great unique conversion!

Does anyone think isotope99 has been watching both THING films?

Started painting, pictures to follow in a few days.

I do have both Thing movies on DVD now you mention it.

Inspiration could probably also be traced to Peter Jackson's King Kong (the gorge near the end of the island section) and the original Anaconda movie (most ridiculous special effect in that movie).

That's just fantastic, an inspired idea and well executed. Can't wait to see it painted!

Fleshy bits almost done. The back looks better I think in flesh tones, I wasn't so keen on the official model's red.

I am so tempted to rip mine apart and have a go at this! Fortunately I am far too lazy...

It is just such an inreadible idea! and so superbly executed as well. Very Well done sir! I'd doff my cap but I'm afaid you 'brute would eat it!

I liked it before, but with the colour photos, it's looking amazing, what's the recipe for your flesh ?

Looking good, what colour are you thinking of for the armour?

what's the recipe for your flesh ?Yes, tell us. Mmmmm-yum-yum-yum. :P

You'll have to translate into new colours

Base = Tallarn flesh + liche purple approx 50:50
First highlight: Tallarn flesh
Bridge coat: As base but more flesh colour 75:25
Second highlight: Flesh + dheneb stone 50:50
Third highlight: Flesh + bleached bone 25:75
Wash: flesh + purple watered down

For armour I think probably a Tzeentch blue & gold shaded down a lot. That way I can use it as a prince with bolt in my daemon army.

Other option is nurgle death guard green & brown which would blend better with the flesh but I like the idea of the armour barely holding the flesh change in check.

More progress, hopefully the marine in the foreground is clearer now.

Main armour up next. Should be finished by the weekend-end.

Man! I love the "slagged armor and cauterized flesh" effect you've got going on with the foreground marine. Awesome!
