Hi guys. Been Googling/YouTubing for the best magnet/drill size for raider sails. My preference is to core out the base of the mast (where it connects to the deck of the raider) and glue the magnets inside the newly created holes. Anyone with experience able to suggest a good size? I'm new to magnetizing models, so if you could provide a size and brand of magnet/drill combo pack (like 3/32" Primal Horizon for example), that would be even better. Thanks!

I did mine with 1/8" x 1/32" magnets (specifically, these (http://www.amazingmagnets.com/show-fractional-d032a.aspx)), and a standard 1/8" drill bit (such as you might find in a set like this (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0045PQ762/?tag=hyprod-20&hvadid=15721793379&hvpos=1o3&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6693031241600143215&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&ref=asc_df_B0045PQ762)) that I turned by hand. I prefer to drill magnet holes by hand, actually, to have maximum control over not making the hole too deep. I use a standard Citadel pin vise to drill a "pilot" hole exactly where I want the center of the bigger hole to go; this lets me stick the point of the larger drill bit in the pin vise hole to avoid the point slipping and drilling the hole slightly to one side.

Fantastic. Many thanks for the advice, I think I might order those very magnets and drills. You've saved me some time. Much appreciated!
