Attention BoLS community. I'm asking for your good wishes, vibes, prayers, and magic thought powers because my wife and I are hoping to hear back from a new apartment this week. If you live in the San Francisco bay area, you know why this is a matter of some concern.

This new apartment will be awesome. We'll have an office. No more bits of sprue flying out of my hands and hitting my wife while she naps. In this office, there will be room for one - maybe even two! - glass cabinets to display my work. There will be a balcony on which I can prime and seal my minis. I will be a 15 minute bike ride from Endgame, Oakland.

And that's just the miniatures and gaming benefits. Don't get me rhapsodizing about the weather, the proximity to my work, and the lack of black mold!

So, please, pray that the Emperor smiles upon us, that the Ethereals agree that this change of residence best serves the Greater Good, that Khaine... um... ok, that Cegorath... well, actually... ah... ok, pray that Gork and Mork... no, that's really not a good idea... send your pet C'tan to... stay home.

It's actually more like a man-and-his-wife cave, or a man-corner in an us-cave. Point being, the office can be temporarily converted into a whoever-needs-it-cave, while the other retreats to the bedroom, the living room, or the FLGS/bookstore/yarn store, thus adding an unheard of degree of harmony to our relationship.

Seriously, if we have to spend another San Francisco winter in our tiny apartment, someone is going to go all Khorne.
