Anyone know any good places to get Laser cut terrain from in the UK?

I don't know, but it sounds like that terrain would hurt. I will look around for some though

have you tried

http://www.warmill.co.uk/

Warmill has recently begun producing laser-cut MDF and resin terrain kits with the philosophy of flexibility, complexity and detail. Warmill terrain is designed to be as flexible as possible, as we believe good terrain is terrain that can be used in every game. We believe in producing terrain that is highly detailed, is a modelling project in itself, and can be the focal point of the game rather as much as an incidental feature of the battlefield. Expansion packs allow the customer to build their collection over time to build their ideal setup.

that is a quote I just don't know how to get it into the quote thingy

Edit: I found out how

Warmill is definitely a good place to start, their barricade fortress is great.

Also Sarissa Precision do some lovely stuff:

Have to dig around the website for their sci fi stuff but it's well worth it.

And then of course there's Micro Art Studios too:

They're probably the best 3 companies, but new ones seem to keep springing up all the time.

Also bear in mind that laser cut MDf scenery really soaks up paint, so you're better off wood staining it rather than painting it.

a wide variety of stuff, a little more expensive than I expected, but still cheaper than GW. :D want to get a gaming table sorted out cheaply so I can have friends over at my flat. And film more Battle reports for youtube.

Thanks for the links :D

Yes, it really sucks up paint, but you CAN get sealer/undercoats in a rattlecan that do the job of basecoating quite well.
They also cover up the stink of burnt wood (my Laser-cut HDF stuff reeked of it).

You could always go for Pegasus Hobbies plastic terrain:
http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/pegasus-hobbies/28mm-wargaming-accessories/cat_1088.html

They do several Gothic kits that are roughly equivalent (though not as MOOOOAARRR SKUUULLLLZZZ!!!) to GW's City of Death terrain, only cheaper. As well as a few other more industrial kits (which wayland doesn't list all of -- Huh).

I just looked at that website and I was really impressed! Some of the stuff is really impressive, especially the battle grounds and the pantheon.

Seems really affordable too. Though this may be because they're Australian.
