Necron Gauss Weapons

I'm just wondering how to perhaps use a different color acrylics for the Necron Gauss weapons. I know it has been done but how? Where can I get such rods that fit into place?

I know I've seen what you're looking for on other sites, I just can't recall off the top of my head where.

Another option you could do (and what I'm doing) is cut down some Immortal Gauss Blaster barrels and use those. I feel it ties the army together better than the acrylic rods since Immortals, Deathmarks, Arks, and, well, any of the newer kits use the standard, stylized plastic barrels. Then you can use the green acrylic rods for terrain!

Or if you're feeling lazy, just paint over them and do your own thing like OSL or lightning or whatever.

I know miniwargaming sells these coloured tubes of acrylic, and you have to cut them down to size, and I think you can find similar things all over the place. Only place I know for sure that sells them is miniwargaming, and I think they have green, blue and red.
