Abbey Home Studios is proud to introduce Warmace 400C...
IN THE GRITTY DARKITUDE OF THE DISTANT FUTURE THERE IS ONLY CONFLICT
"It is the 401st Century. For more than a ten millennium the Empress of Mankind has sat immobile on the Ceramic Throne of Terra. She is the mistress of mankind by the will of god and master of a multi-million worlds by the might of her innumerable armies. She is a rotating carcass writhing visibly with power from the Dim Days of Technomancy. She is the Constipated Lady of the vast Space Empire of Man for whom tens of hundreds of souls are sacrificed every day so that she may never truly diet. Yet even in his occupied state, the Empress continues her eternal observance. Mighty battlefleets cross the demon-infested substance of the Worp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astromancitude, the psychic project of the Empress’s will. Vast armies battle in Her name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst her soldiers are the Smelldar, genespliced super soliders."
Part of the mythology that we are creating revolves around the Empress leading 20 generals each with their own army of smelldar. The Chaotic Darkness Smelldar occurred when a falling out between the empress's most trusted general's, over some sort of religious schism occurred, though this theme will be discussed and changed over the next editions.
Currently we have two sculpts the Smelldar and the Chaotic Darkness Smelldar, representing the two different factions currently released.
These are all unique designs which do not have a representation in complete other literature or pictures.

The 20 Generals
Leopard Bo’Ris Johson (Angels of Darkness) – Going into battle wearing battle toga these Smelldar hunt for the lost who may or may not have occurred at a schism over what was “natural”
Maggie the Maroon (1024 warriors?) – The magic potential of the Smelldar is exceptionally high amongst these warriors of the empress
Epsilon Psi Sigma (unnamed?) – These are actually a triplet, they seem to play to their own agenda without a care if it is for or against the Empress. They are the special ops, masters ofinflitration
Corvus Validus (Magpie Warriors) – Proper goth smelldar, they often collect shiney things in the battle field.
Robbot Meadarius (Megadar Legion) – A valiant and noble legion, a proper 1D heroes. The largest of all the armies
Angryeron (Angrydar/Planet Munchers) – Always angry, these have turned to Chaotic Darkness
Ferropodes / Ferroman (Iron Feet Warriors) – Enjoy technological upgrades, quite grim in nature with stedfast feet of iron. Ferropodes was breeding an army of Ferrosapiens before they were denounced by the Empress.
Ögedei Khan (Pale Cuts) – Similar in tactics to the Mongol hordes, enjoying lightning fast raids though in recent times their steeds have become metal steeds or bikes/trikes
Rigel Thornberry (The Fists of the Empress) – Staunchly loyal, the archetype is Germanic/Holy Roman Empire
Dus Fo Rah (Viking Wolves) – Viking, nipple tweaking, mead drinking smelldar.

About Abbey Home Studios...
We are also going to be produce Warmace Fantastic (a fantasy/mythological based wargame) and Earl of the Circles based on a world completly distinct from Tolkiens works. We spoke with a lawyer associated with Charnel House Sculpts who said it was legit, but suggested we should register ourselves in North Sudan.
And we will of course be updating the history and rules for you to comment on so we can get your feedback

In terms of game mechanics as we are using the now industry standard 28mm scale, we thought we would revolutionise wargamming and give it a much deserved base 10. So movement will be in terms of cm, a die rolls will be D10s.
We are thinking of the attributes of models and were thinking of the following skills:
Moveability
Weapon stabbing - how good they are in melee
Bullet shooting - how good they are at shooting bullets (or equivalent, blasts/beams/boomarangs)
Strongness - how strong they are, for carrying things and hitting things
Toughitude - this is in relation to how dense they are or resistant to physical harm
Inginuity - the wits, how quick thinking is the model
Assault factor - this relates to how quickly it can assault or how often
Weapon resistance - related to Toughitude, but how much damage that beats that thoughitude test is required to kill the model
Sheild value - the physical protection of the model, from shields personal armour,

That seems very easy to use.

I humbly suggest that this General might be a better fit for an 'Angels of Rhesus Positive' army, given his habit of descending into battle from the sky:

Sorry, I briefly confused your excellent work with some other game which, now I come to think about it, might be trying to rip off your own innovative work, the swine.

Game mechanics pt 1:
Strongness is how strong something is, how much damage it has the ability to inflict, the higher this characteristic the more chance of causing damage.
Toughitude is how tough something is, how resistant to damage it is, the higher this characteristic the more chance of resisting damage.
If the S and T characteristics are equal then the model has just as much chance of being injured as they have to resisting damage.
Generally the formula for calculating the minimum D10 value is, Min Value = 5 + T - S.
This gives the attached table.
Where the value is more than 10, then the S is too weak to over come the models T.
Where the value is 0 or less, then it automatically passes, where the score is -2 this causes double damage, -4 causes triple damage.
