Sorry folks, but it has to be said. After several years of just sort of bumming around, everything is coming up roses. Effort given is being rewarded, and I am the happiest I've been in years (and I've never been particularly maudalin!)
Job has turned into a career, with much promise of more developments to come. I'm earning more money than I have ever earned. I'm exceptionally close to having me a beautiful, caring girlfriend (so very near, after 8 months chasing!) and it's all falling into place.
I really am on a roll right now. Even the LRP event I thought I'd have to miss is now happening, thanks to an unexpected first pay packet, and the chance to just go for it.
Not bad overall for a bloke who left education at 16 with a clutch of C grade GCSEs! Just wish I'd got my arse into gear earlier in life. Still, only 32. Plenty of time to leave my indelible mark upon the world yet!
And to those who aren't having such a great time, take heart from my achievements. It's never too late. Things might be bad just now, times aren't easy. But buckle down, and go at life head first and balls out. Success is possible, just takes an awful lot of hard work in the first instance to get that initial chance!
