Eldrad is listed as a psyker mastery 3 (counting his spirit stones) but it doesn't speak of his staff. Is it reasonable to think you can use 3 powers in a turn and the staff can duplicate one thereby casting a fourth power?

Thanks, I looked over the internet before asking and couldnt rally find a definitive argument in favor or against.

Also, the FAQ says he can pick 4 divination/telepathy powers and that kind of threw me off

thanks all!

There is no clear wording on mastery level but I use 3 to play it safe, then nobody will complain. Yes, he can swap out his codex powers (all of them) for 4 from the book, rolled for in divination/telepathy disciplines.

You can at most use three powers, one of which can be duplicated if you are out of combat. If you use Eldar powers, then nothing has changed since 5th. If you use rulebook powers, you must spend warp charges to cast them and Eldrand only has 3.
