Now, I don't want this to devolve into a "Squats suck" or "I wish Squats were back" thread.
I have four of the unreleased squat miniatures in slightly used condition. I am wondering about their worth should I decide to sell them, and if there were any interest from collectors that may be here on BOLS. I have the larger of the cyber slayers, the lord with scale mail, the one with horns and power axe upraised and the one without horns and bolt pistol only.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm also the one who has to touch something that has a "Wet Paint" sign on it ;)

I actually quite liked the Squats (back when they were around, and kind of hope they could come back, myself.

Somehow make re-casts of them and fuel the market.

Opps, did I say that out loud? ;)

Ha Ha no wonder you are backing CHS on the other thread, you are a light fingered little thiefy type as well.

It's hardly theft.

GW does not and will not make any money off of Squats, especially the long OOP models. (Tyranids made sure of that.)

Sort of like Unseen long OOP Battletech minis of the Robotech style mechs. I have no qualms about buying reproductions of miniatures long, long, long out of print.

Also why I don't feel bad about friends burning me movies that are either OOP or extremely stupid to get a hold of.

Everything is situational.

This is coming from someone who makes music and doesn't give a rats *** about people swapping or downloading his songs.

I could go into the reasons why, but if someone can't see the benefits, I'm not about to educate because it rarely goes anywhere.

Your looking at about $50-150 a miniature, depending on the buyer. Thats realistic. I've seen them go as high as 400-500 on E-bay, but its not common and those were new, unpainted in mint condition.

Hmm, I've had them since they were new, at that time they were "pre-release" miniatures. I don't know if I'll ever sell them but I just think it's awesome that I have 4 of the rarest citadel miniatures that there are. And that's pretty damned cool.

My eldest brothers actually have one they bought back in 1982 when it was on sale for a short time before the pure awesomeness contained in the sculpts destroyed the moulds.

Your argument is invalid :D

Thanks for the pics. I think I haven't seen a few of those minis before, even on Stuff of Legends!

Actually, it might be worth double checking, and seeing if they want photos!
