So with 6th ed I felt It was time to bring in some close air. So last week a vulture was ordered and today it has arrived.

So the kit is fairly nice. once the gates and flash was washed off only a little extra clean up required with no major flaws showing up. (been lucky with that from forgeworld so far.)

The contents of the bags after some sub assembly and initial cleaning of the hull.

some light sanding was needed to get good snug fits on the cockpit, engine and jet nozzle.

oooh nice :D i got one of those for my birthday last year,,, i almost finished it but i never could get the =][= symbol finished :P

cant wait to see this painted!

yes twin punishers good for strafing runs and perforating any other aircraft that gets to close.

and so progress. Base coated in adeptus battle grey. here masked off for the camo.

Looking good dude! I ran a vulture with punishers the other day and she kicked arse! Shredded a guard squad, half a sisters squad and ripped apart a hellhound, good times!

The vulture on its first outing an 8 player 750point + free flyer match. Having just earned its name "wytch hunter" buy wiping out 12/15 of a unit of wytches about to be set upon by there air support. It survived loosing two hull points and the punishers and then exited the airspace.
