So, I've just taken the plunge to start a DE force and I've noticed there is no model for a BSB available from GW. Does anyone know of any suitable models from alternative companies?

not sure if it would fit the theme of your army but....

there is always this one from Raging Heroes as a companion piece to their Dark Elf "Hero"

I'd forgotten about that model as I don't really like it, but it had given me so ideas for a possible conversion - thanks for the suggestion!

My first foray back into Warhammer when my son became interested in it was a Dark Elf army still stuck at about 500 pts lol as I quickly turned back to first love in Warhammer, Orcs and Goblins

If I ever go back to DE I might get that model because it does fit the theme I had started for mine

Personally I love this one:

Nagausith

From the Bane Lords range, which can be found here (http://banelegions.maelstromgames.co.uk/?tag=bnl-012).

At £10.99 she's not too pricy either, and would go great in a unit of Corsairs.

Her face is a let down for me, don't like it at all. To be fair it may jsut be the paintjob though the bare resin didn't look much better. Haven't seen it in person, though.

The face is the weak point alright but i like the pose and the feeling of menace it gives off :D

Agree the face ain't great, but a head swap should be easy enough to accomplish. Thanks for that Brakkart.

Happy to help. My ongoing mission to lighten your wallet continues... cue evil laughter... *ahem* Muahahhahahha

Seriously though, I love the figure but the head is a bit of a let down. Happily she is in resin, so a head swap should be child's play to do.

So, it's your fault I keep wasting all my money on miniatures! Here was me thinking I just thinking I had an expensive addiction.
