Here's a photo of my Ork Dakkajet converted with an extra pair of guns, decorated with hand painted checks, displayed on a scenic base. I'm currently finishing up the Blitza-Bomma then onto a Burna-Bomma. More pics to follow soon. If you like what you see please visit the gallery and vote on my pics there at this link (http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-13937-11986_Orks.html).

With the way the model looks for all 3 variants i would have thought it possible to not 'convert' it the way you have. Is it not possible to have the wing section that has the guns coming out of the exhaust right next to the 'hull' as well as the ones on the wings?

Either way model looks great.

Is it not possible to have the wing section that has the guns coming out of the exhaust right next to the 'hull' as well as the ones on the wings? Yes it's possible and I've seen people do that, but I think it's a bad idea. For my taste (and the sake of the physics of jet engines) the intake inlets for the smaller side engines should not have guns stuck inside them. I preferred to convert. The way I've converted also has my wings angled upwards instead of down, which I preferred for the Dakkajet fighter version of the Bommer kit.

Either way model looks great. Thanks very much!

Here's a picture of the second finished model for my Ork Air Force, the Blitza-Bomma. I used the same colors and motifs as on the Dakkajet to tie them together as part of the same force, but distributed them differently to show the individual preferences of each Ork pilot. The Burna-Bomma will be my next painting project.

Looks good too, though I'd go with just dakkajets as they are the better choice :P

It's no secret that I like flying Orks :P and I like these. Especially the pilots.

The jets themselves are a bit plain for my tastes, but very well executed :)

Here's a photo of the third and final Bommer variant fully painted, the Burna-Bomma.

Thanks!

Here are some photos of all three models "flying" together in formation. If anyone wishes to vote on these images, here's a link to their place in my Dakkadakka Gallery (http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-13937-11986_Orks.html).

The daring Ork Dakkajet escorts his brave fellow Bomma pilots to their target.
