News from the film industry!

See here (http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=34775)

When I read that Malekith (lord of the Dark Elves) was to be in Thor 2 I was in a state of utter confusion, had Warhammer Fantasy infiltrated Marvel films? Nope, turns out that I'm estupido. :p

Anyway, turns out that Christopher Eccleston is playing the unlucky leader of Svartalfheim, I do like him when he plays villains, he's got one of those faces.

It also turns out that Alan Taylor is directing it. Squee.

This film has my seal of approval.

I liked Thor.

And C Ecclestone is very good. Not the best Doctor, but a good actor.

And Nat Portman is hot. So thats a plus as well

I think David Tennant was my favourite, he was eccentric but not stupid.

Agreed, she is hot.

Noobs. Best doctors in descending order McCoy, T Baker, Smith

Anyways. Kind of psyched. But I haven't forgiven him for GI Joe! Film was cool, but that accent.....

I can't even remember what accent he tried? I remember that it was bad however.

I was meaning the new series of Doctors (Tennant, Eccleston, and Smith), I view them as two separate entities.

I don't like Dr.Who it irritates me. So that's not a selling point. But I suppose Natalie Portman is acceptable eye-candy, considering all the damp seats from the wenches drooling over thor it's only fair for us to be entertained as well...

I smell another GW lawsuit....

Is the name not just a generic fantasy one that GW ripped off/used for their own purpose?

As hilarious as that'd be, I've looked into it and Malekith the Cursed is far older than Games Workshop's Malekith, son of Morathi.
And the Dark Elves of Norse mythology are even older. :D
