Blood champion?

Ok so im thinking of adding an honour guard to my BA (its just an excuse to use the swish banner from the nipple guard box TBH).

the blood champ has a power weapon, and im thinking of going with the axe (1H nipple guard one) :) yes i know I1 but would i be better off just using a power sword?

i could do, i only have 1 left LOL (used a few for conversions).

i really like the look of the axe though, but if he could potentially die before he uses it i dont know. :)

Does the Champion not have an invun save? I thought all champions had a shield of some kind.

yeah combat shield so a 6++.

After my BA's firm ******* smashing by Draigo and a 20 of his paladin buddies last night, I've become a big fan of axes.
