1st of all I really like the FW Apocalypse Updates that add Hull Points and different damage system to Super Heavies.

I will be facing some Warhound Titans next week and have a Q regarding Assaults.
When assaulting a Super Heavy Walker with a non super heavy (Dreadnought and/or Wraithlord), do you always hit the front armor or hit the facing you are in?

I don't see it stated one way or the other in the Apoc rulebook or the FW FAQ.

Since the Super Heavy Walker cannot be locked in combat by my Dreadnoughts and Wraithlords, it kind of makes sense that it is not actually turning to face. But I'm not sure.

Ideas, thoughts, rules?

you hit what you are touching.

Super-heavy vehicles can be Open-topped, Fast, Tanks, Skimmers and Walkers. These vehicles follow the rules attached to their vehicle type given in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, with the exceptions below for each type.

So a SH walker follows the same assault rules as a normal walker, as the only exceptions are adding rules about who can be targetted by overwatch etc - so always front armour unless it's immobilised.

Thanks Gotthammer. I missed that little bit.
