Can the C'tan shards Grand Illusion manisfestation of power be used to move a Night Scythe or Doom Scythe out of reserve so that it starts the game on the board?

Flyers must start the game in reserve. Does grand illusion take place before or after the game starts? My interpretation is "before" so no, I don't think so.

It specifically allows you to pull units out of reserve. I also don't think there's any clause regarding how you treat units that must start in reserve. Because flyers must start in reserve, and this doesn't address that, the rule that they must start in reserve trumps. But it's not entirely clear.
