Bolster Defences

I did a search and was unable to find a answer. Are you able to Bolster a forification that you purchused? Pretty simple question I am hoping yout can but not sure :P

I thought that rule applied only to ruins. Fortifications are all buildings except for the aegis line, which counts as debris. If you can bolster buildings then I guess the answer is yes.

Odd, It looks like the BA bolster is different then the SM bolster. The BA one looks like you can do it to any terrain (not purchused though)

did you check the FAQ? I believe the entry is the same for everyone.

I am under the impression that you can bolster any terrain piece, which wouldn't include buildings unless some aspect of their mechanics has changed, because all it does is give a cover save boost.

“Bolster Defences: After deployment, but before Scout redeployments and Infiltrate deployments, nominate one piece of terrain in your deployment zone (this may not be one you have purchased as part of your army). The terrain piece’s cover save is increased by one for the duration of the game (to a maximum of 3+). For example, a ruin (4+ cover save) would instead offer a 3+ cover save. A piece of terrain can only be bolstered once”.

That is from the BA faq though in the SW faq its not the same (unless I missed it)
