Hi all,
I just tried playing against my friend's Space Wolves with my Dark Eldar as primary detachment and allied CSM. The mission was the relic for 1500 pts. Though at the end, I won with 2-1 (each from slay the warlord and first blood, while he got only Slay the Warlord), but I had a tiresome experience with this game. Half of my army was CSM, so these guys could only do killing and blocking. So all the burden for objective went to Dark Eldar, which was very weak against fire-only SW. And there was sometimes that One Eye Open got my DE unit stopped doing anything.
So in my opinion, don't use desperate allies except the allies are that damned good killers. If you have to use it, try to minimize them. Because these units are not scoring or denial units.:(
