First Blood & Machine spirit

Couple of questions from the game I played tonight ~ anyone know the answers ?

1/ first Blood victory point ~ does a dedicated transport count for scoring this?

2/ machine spirit ~ how does that work now for shooting ?

1: Presumably, as long as it was the first unit destroyed.

2: You are allowed to fire "one more weapon than you would normally", so instead of only firing one weapon at full BS when you move, you can fire two. The rest are snap-fired.

1. Dedicated transports are units. Destroying the first unit gets you the objective.

2. Read the PotMS special rule in the rulebook. It tells you how PotMS works. It's changed from what it used to be.

Cheers guys ~ I thought so with transports ~ its just such a soft VP though killing a rhino !

Most games of 6th I've played so far haven't been close enough that the single First Blood VP has turned the tide - but it could very well tip the balance in a close draw.
