Just checking. The new Forgeworld Vehicle FAQ does list the Mortis Pattern Dreadnought, but the only place I found the rules are in Imperial Armour 2. The Contemptor Pattern Mortis has a great selection of weapons and is in Imperial Armour Apocalypse 2nd Edition.

My question is regarding the regular Mortis Pattern Dread.
Is there any other book that has it?
Can it still only be taken by Dark Angels?

I would love to use it as my AA (gains Skyfire and Interceptor if stationary).

Check Imperial Armour Apocalypse? I think they "updated" some older units in those books. If not, then IA2 is your only reference.

Went through all of the IA books and looks like IA2 is the only standard Mortis Dread, and only Dark Angels and their successor can take them.

Oh, well. The Contemptor is more but has better BS, Front Armor, and an invuln save.

Just imagine 180pts Dreadnought with 5+ invuln and 2 twin-linked Kheres Assault Cannons (Str6, Heavy 6 rending). And if stationary it gains Skyfire and Interceptor. That's 12 Twin-linked shots hitting flyers on a 2+!!
Booyah!

BS of 5, don't need twin linked. With rending its an absolute beast of a machine.

And for goodness sake, bung a bloody cyclone on it!
