Jerac could likely find him/herself working at Lego if they applied in the future. I'm not sure if there are any 3rd Party Lego careers though.

There is a market for third party jobs, and even through Lego themselves, but the competition is fierce and the jobs are limited.

Well I do know there's a fine artist that sells amazing Lego sculptures, but making something as specific mecha I'd imagine is fiercely competitive.
