Hi there, my name's Miles, you may remember me from such long discussions as "Why iPad & not Android (http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?t=23149)".

I'm doing some research into digital products and how they cross over into the analogue gaming realm.
Specifically I'm building a case study into what GW (or another gaming company) could do if they fully embraced digital.

This phase is the discovery phase - I'm looking for examples of digital list writing or army organisation tools that you like, loathe or are otherwise worth a mention.

If you could tell me

What the product is called
Any URL's you know
What's great
What's not great
What you'd change if you had a magic wand

I would be immensely pleased. Negative feedback, backed up with examples and reasoning is just as valuable to me, if not more so.

Look forward to your replies and thanks for your help.

The findings, along with the follow ups and my eventual conclusions will be published on my own blog (http://www.tetsugaku.info) as well as my portfolio (http://www.thetalldesigner.com). I'll be giving thanks to anyone who has anything helpful to say!

Army Creator Mobile. I have it on my Android. It's really rather excellent, and great because you can just carry it around in your pocket. Also, you can report anything the guy has missed out like unit options etc. on his site and he has it fixed really quickly. The man is a machine.

Google it. :D

Thanks very much I'll look it up and see how it looks - is there anything specific which is really bonus? Would you change anything?

How about anyone else - What do you think about Army Builder?

Have any of you tried Quartermaster on IOS?

Alice 40k

Completely free excel spreadsheets.

even has a template so you can make your own.

You still need the codex to tell you what the options do and how many you can take but these things are a dream to use.

I just did a search on that Alice40k site. It looks like that one is no longer supported by its creator as of October 2011.
