Hi guys!
Larry recommended I create a thread here to parallel the one I have on several other forums.
I've been making some fun printable terrain for you to use!
Naturally they are free, I hope you guys enjoy them.

Viktor Von Domm over at dakka was kind enough to quickly put together a test run:

If you make some of these, can you take a picture and show me what you did?

They look awesome, opne of my mates makes some printable stuff and we use them all over.
It saves so much time on the painting of the terrain.
His printer can print direct onto foamboard so it is a godsend

These look really good!! I know many of players are made happy by instant terrain. (worrying if that sounds sarcastic, it's not meant to be.
Oh, and the poster above talking about looking for heavier quality paper. I know back in the dawn of time when GW provided similar things they suggested printing it out on paper and then gluing the paper to a thin sheet of cardboard.
You want just a regular glue stick, and cardboard from a breakfast cereal box. I hope this helps -- and it's a lot cheaper and harder wearing than looking for heavier stock paper.

glue stick works but can lead to bumpiness, spray glue is king!

Those are pure extract of AWESOME!
Having been into card stock paper models for ... well, decades ... 40K can definitely benefit from more of these.

Here's a few pictures of the boxes on the table next to one of the buildings used for 40K games. The Malcador is a paper model also.

I'm working on something new now:

I'm having so much fun with this I may end up just making a whole matching set of buildings so people can make an industrial sector...

This is a great idea! With a bunch of those boxes and crates and a little cardstock you can make a whole piece of area terrain with those.. and you can certainly do the same with the barricades. I think a key here is to print it on some higher quality paper or to glue it onto pieces of plasticard so that tanks and metal models won't crush them.
Awesome work, and much kudos for going down the freebie route. This is what I believe is the true nature of the 'hobby'. A lot of work has gone into your templates and all for the benefit of other gamers.
I know from my own foamcore templates how much effort goes into these and your excellent graphics make everything instant. I've been thinking about doing some with textures but backed up with the actual models themselves, really want to try and do some Epic buildings though.
Good work!
