Force swords are AP 3. Mefiston wargear clearly states he has a force sword.
Si basically does nothing to terminators, meganobs and anything that have 2+save...

that is really going to make some blood angels player cry

You need to get hooked on Tycho.

I think he's the only character in Codex BA (and the only SM I can think of) who negates 2+ at higher than I1, in this case a whopping I5! Unless somebody can show me hard rules that say otherwise, I think Tycho and to a slightly lesser degree Gabriel Seth (S8 Rending) just became the cheap sleeper heroes of Codex BA, especially for anti-termy duty.

For me the majority of things that Mephiston goes against is Sv 3+, and he still will be pretty awesome vs characters striking first (thanks to high I), wounding on 2+ (thanks to Sword) and causing instant death (thanks to it being a force weapon).


And the return of tactical Terminators.

I haven't got my rule book with me but hasn't he got a deamon sword so I wonder if that counts as being special.
Also, he has his Talon's of Horus (or whatever they are called) so could he no just choose to do those lightning claw style attacks at I?
