OK I maybe reading it wrong, but let's say a squad of 10 eldar guardians are charged by whatever..so if I'm correct that's 20 dice looking for 6's (assault 2 weapons)..or let's say its marines being charge does snap fire combine with rapid fire ie 20 dice with full marine squad?

Spot on. It's normal shooting in all respects, except that they are snap shots so are BS1.
