Frost blades

As reading through the new rules I have noticed (as all of you have) the power weapons section and this has coursed some mild confusion in me,

for instance in the old rules a frost blade was a power weapon that confered +1ST
Now in the new rules a power sword is AP3 and a power axe is +1ST and AP2.

So anyone see the confusion, Does a frost blade confer +1ST at AP3, and frost axe +2ST at AP2
and what would the points cost be.

Also there are so many variants to this combo its wasn't worth going through but I hope you get my drift on this one.

Well, Frostblades aren't standard Power Weapons, so I would suggest +1S, AP3 regardless of whether it's a Frost Sword, Axe, Winkle or Budgieregar!

This is in the FAQ for SW. Frost blades are +1str, AP3 and Frost Axes are +2str, AP2 and unwieldy (I1). It also says points cost is 10pts for either.
Most things like this seem to be covered in the FAQs (eg Grey Knight force weapons are Unusual Force Weapons and so are AP3).

this serisly pisses me off, now i have to go back and remodel some of my best models. the more i here about the new rules the more im getting upset

So you hold back with the Axe wielders, letting the sword bearers go closest. Swords strike first, then fall first. Axes mop up the remaining enemy.

Not seeing the big reason for QQing?
