Hmm, i think i've seen it stated in many places that you cannot take named HQs as allies.. Yet, when you choose 'your' faction in the link given, it list all kinds of unique special characters there aswell..

So, named characters as allies or not? :confused:

I saw this chart the other day,and couldn't believe some of the pairings. Necron and everybody pretty much. Or what about Black Templars? I'm sure they couldn't wait to join up with a Xenos ally.hmm. I really think the fluff potential do allies is lost in this losse interpretation.

However, certain aspects of the game are implemented to improve the game itself while also driving sales. A healthy product makes more money in the long run. The allies matrix seems to focus too heavily on profit without concern for the health of the game. I don't like the way it looks at this stage and this advertisement suggests revenue is the primary goal with a concerning level of disregard for the game itself.
