Alright guys, it has begun.

Go to Faeit 212 and go crazy there, too. Everyone and their granmas will be posting about the rules.
A couple of standouts:
- Fleet apparently allows controlling player to reroll dice for running and one die for assault charges. Still doesn't say whether it's a choice, you run or assault, or can do both and reroll both. The former sounds balanced but nerfs Orks and Tyranids so badly. But if it's the latter...holy crap that would be insane! Thraka becomes far more viable because of his auto 6 to run.
- Allies continues to be controversial. But for now the grass is greener on the other side for me. My gaming group doesn't have enough armies to ally everything up, let alone enough money to start a detachment. I'll actually be the first to use the rule with my CSM and traitor IG detatchment. So we'll see how it goes.
- Wooh! Blast templates can't be used with Overwatch and flamer templates are D3. Assault armies need not worry.
- So assault overall continues to be lackluster in my opinion (read: 2D6 but we already knew that). I play Necrons so I won't be assaulting much and my Lychguard are just guard duty (no pun intended) for my IC's due to 4++.
- Hullpoints are a great system in my opinion. Glancing hits remove hullpoints but you don't roll on the damage table anymore. Penetrating hits do both remove hp and roll on damage table (which has changed with no wrecked result). Why no wrecked result you say? Because when hp's are exhausted the vehicle is wrecked.
There's so much to read on. It's pretty exciting. I'm really looking forward to it and if the starter box is worth it. As it stands the 75 dollars for the book is almost justified. If you get it on discount, you're not wasting your money.
