Can Court of the Archon be combined with other units?

I fully realize this is a long shot, but I want to see how much I can get away with here as a DE player. :p

So, for instance, can the CotA be used as a retinue with an archon while embedded in another unit? (archon + CotA + Incubi, for example?)

While the Archon has the IC special rule (so s/he can join units), but the court does not so cannot join another unit.
I can't see that it says that the Archon has to join the Court so could probably join another squad and still have the court, but you can't join 2 squads together

I am afraid not. The Court is a standalone unit just like any other group of warriors or wyches, despite it's odd selection prerequisite. However, the Archon is not required to be with them at any point.
