In love with 6th

Well looking over the rumors we have so far, Im thinking that 6th is going to be pretty good. Obviously this is based off of unconfirmed rumors, but I still think this is going to be a good four years. I hear a lot of people complaining about how broken everything will be, but I dont see anything too over powered. This looks like there will be slightly less vehicles, slightly more fliers, and the new terrain pieces can balance out fliers for armies without hydras. Im a Nids player, but I dont think random assault will be killer, and the "allies" wont affect me, but I dont think it will be super abused. I believe that someone said there will be a limit on one Elite/FA/HS each for allies, so there wont be guard with three psyflemen dreads. And, psychic powers! The changes sound good, if the powers arent to your liking, then boom! Use the ones in your codex, easy as that.

Anyone else getting annoyed by the naysayers? Well of course, but who else likes what theyve heard so far?

'cept for the things which nerf Eldar.:p But honestly it really is far too soon to make any kind of judgement or have any notion of how 6th will turn out. I will say that 8th was a huge success, solid ruleset and all the 8th ed army books have been extremely well balanced against each other and GW have seen a commensurate increase in WFB sales. This has at least shown GW are capable of putting out broadly balanced books for a game system, I have hopes the same will be said of 6th.

They both occupy the same slot though unless you go for Venerable Psyflemen (which are 60 points more per model) so...I dunno that it would be that bad.

Salamanders + GK = Tu Shan counts as Draigo HQ + Paladins as fireborn bodyguard. If it pans out as I hope it will 6th is going to be awesome.

You don't remember, springs are like defensive grenades used against things with large bases like walker and mc size and if a test is passed it bounces the thing away so it can't perform a hulk smash attack, the sporans gave an I boost on the charge.
It does seem that sporans +jpacks is now redundant now though

or was it kilts not sporans?
