Well, it seems to be a little expensive... wait to see pics for it in 4 days!

Me. Providing it is good. Good to see a big batch of finecast stuff, though I'm guessing the fact Tau are getting a load means there aren't any new shiny kits on the way any time soon. Boo.

No one has noticed that the two hitherto unreleased Necron special characters are on the list?;)

Squee! Though dunno if it's just my iPhone, but that info was really hard to read!

Oh god-emperor the Dark Eldar 'prisoner' models are being re-released.

Why.

They must sell enough to warrant it, simple as that. You do see them appear in project logs more than you would expect. Of course their is a miniscule chance they may new sculpts.:p

Yeah I get why people want them and all but...ugh. Those sculpts...

You know... I balked at first at the prices for all the various rulebook sets at first. And then I saw this:

440 Pages.

Holy crap that's a lot of pages.

Honestly, when compared to a lot of other "coffee table books" -- and let's not kid ourselves, thats effectively what this is-- the price isn't actually that bad. a 200 page absolute edition comic from DC is anywhere from $100-$150.

Dior Couture (EG, you have this?) was $115 for 250 pp and Harry Potter - Script to Screen was $75 for 550 pages. So, comparitively, it really isn't that bad.

Sure, perspective is something severely lacking in our tiny niche corner of the universe, but it never hurts to infuse some of it anyways.

I can tell you which of those books I'd get my monies worth out of.....

Even on Warseer I haven't seen many complaints about the price to be honest. Well just about the collectors edition price.

Is that the Dior Couture book by Ingrid Whatsername? I have it somewhere. Maybe in a book case even. I'm all about New Look.

Finecast packs of kroothounds and beastmasters are good.

Now....collectors stuff should be good. But what does it come with? And does the collecors editon come with a satchel?

Drag queens for the win :p

Use them as objective markers - "capture the drag queen! For the Emperor!"

But seriously those sculpts are an affront on female and male physiology.

I'm pretty excited that the last of the Necron SCs will be available. I take it that Drazhar will not be a resculpt. I'm happy with my old one but I think that it's about time for DE to get some SC love.

Not I, unfortunately a bit steep for my pockets. Though I'll certainly thumb through a mate's.

Excited/hopeful for fluff progression, though. Can we get The Star Child Show on the road? :)

I noticed! And I'm now MASSIVELY excited.

I think Necrons are the first army in a long time to have their entire army released within a year of the new codex.

First 40k one. Empire had all the new stuff released on the 1st wave. But it is good to see GW ramping up the speed of releases
