I am just wondering this:
In the rules of Marbo, it is described that his infiltration ability is second to none being able to apear 1" from an enemy target.
Now, it says infiltration.
The chooser of the slain has an ability to prevent infiltrators within a radius of 18".
Can the chooser of the slain prevent Marbo from appearing within the 18" radius?

Fluff text =/= rules. Unless it specifically says something to the effect of "this counts as infiltrating" then it wouldn't apply. Also, doesn't Marbo come in from reserves? Given that infiltration happens before the game starts, I don't think it could count as Infiltrate, rather it is it's own unique form of deployment from reserves.

A Chooser of the Slain only works on models with the universal special rule "Infiltrate". Trying to derive extra scenarios a rule can work in from the fluff just opens a huge can of worms (not that it hasn't happened before ;o; ).

Marbo is forcibly placed in reserves, thus he cannot Infiltrate as the rules dictate. So Chooser of the Slain does not work.
GW likes to describe its actions in a way for entertainment that can cause odd inconsistencies with the actual rule descriptions. It is a bad habit that they desperately need to break.

There are several basic codex traits that i weould change if I could. One is to separate the fluff text (have it in italics) and the rule text.
Another is to draw fire arc diagrams for every vehicle so we don't get silly argumants about how far you can physically turn a sponson weapon or how weapons are mounted for models that haven't yet been released etc.
