Orc Wave for Spring 2013

Looks like a mini wave for ork players is otw. Looks like this will slot in sometime in spring 2013 by my estimate...

Wave contents:

Ork buggy/half track Dakka/skorcha/rokket plastic (3x box) priced like Necron wraiths
Deffcopters all options plastic (3x box) priced like Terminators
Meganobs all options plastic (5x box) priced like terminators
Flashgits upgrade finecast (3x clamshell) priced like boneswords
Cybork upgrade finecast (3x clamshell) priced like boneswords

Considering how well GW have been playing Tight Mouth Larry recently, this just seems like wishlist.

Plus, Trakks are way, way bigger than Wraiths. More parts as well, if the whole 'one box fits all' thingy.

So right off the bat, I'm calling shenanigans. Sorry to be Nigel The Naysaying Negative Narwhal.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Mr Mystery. GW's rumour mill shouldn't be telling us about that kind of stuff this far out. All those options do deserve decent kits though.

I must disagree with all the naysayers. Stickmonkey has an excellent track record of getting units and new models right. He sometimes struggles with time frame and rules rumors. This indicates that he gets his information from early on in the development process. In other words, whether or not these hit the market in Spring 2013, they will hit the market.

This is excellent news for me because I have been specifically waiting for plastic meganobz before starting an ork army.

He is usually accurate but sometimes his predictions as to when things appear are wrong. He thought the flyers were coming same time last year, for example.

I hope these will include new sculpts for all the models. The Warbuggies and stuff seems like their 2 editions old, and those mega-nobz will hopefully be a new cast as well, with plenty of Combi-weapon options.

I hope it's not correct. I would personally rather see them wait until a new codex release to do plastic meganobs, so they actually have options to put in the kit. If they get plastics now, then they'll remain just as bland come the next revisit.

We know a lot of what is coming in 2013, we just don't know details or can be certain when in 2013 it is coming.
