Hi all,

I just finished reading A Thousand Sons and wondered what happened to the remembrancers those escaped Prospero and faced Space Wolves ships? And why did the last sentences of its chapter state that it would not be the last time they saw Prospero?

Thanks

They are probably dead.

As for the other point, Magnus teleports the entirety of Tizca to the Planet of the Sorcerors, so I suppose it'd be familiar to them?

I don’t think so, at least not right away at the Space Wolves ships. At that point, there were 3 remembrancers in one ship. One of them, Kallimakus, was mentioned on page 51 of the current CSM codex. That’s why I wonder what happened to those 3 afterwards.

Maybe it'll be answered in another Heresy novel?
I know the TS were in Aurelian, I'll have to read it again.

im pretty sure it is not openly mentioned what happened to the remembrancers ship, only ref in ahrimans boxout in the dex.

it is also worthwhile knowing what happened to the small fleet magnus cast away from prospero prior to the wolves attack, it is covered in age of darkness : rebirth. quite a big spoiler coming

hinted that with the fleet being based off the corvidae cult they have the crow on the shoulder, and wear red armour......... with high proportions of psychers, that specialise in predicting the future (as a corvidae would)............ can you see where this is going?

The blood ravens are a 1K sons successor chapter? Thats really interesting

But how would they "become" a chapter in the present, when i they'd be hunted down for being "traitors"

Just like modern day, records get lost, so they may have slipped completely under the net. Or they could have been tested for purity.

Thats interesting cos i've been working on a pre and post heresy loyalist Word Bearers in my head for about a month or so.

Idea being they were lost in the warp, or stranded somewhere before the razing of Khur and the emporers dressing down of the legion for their religious activities. Re-united with the imperium after the heresy they fight for the emperor as the Imperium is now what they want it to be (the emperor is now a god in the eyes of everyone, not just them)

I've mostly bashed this out as an excuse to have a wonderful preheresy army, but to also have extra bits to add to it if i want that aren't pre-heresy

Nice, me and my mate have been working on an alternate heresy. The Emperor comes down at Khur and basically keeps Lorgar happy by saying "yes, I'm a god".

well not to kill the story but something happens at the end of the tale, something unexplained. there are ties with the BR fluff and the marines mentioned in the story, just suggestion and suposistion but that is GW.

the BR are not really a successor, more of a splinter...... oops i think i said too much ;)

I read those notes too. Good stuff. To me it make it all the more obvious that the Blood ravens are lost sons of Magnus. Now I need to read the Blood ravens books.
