I did a bit of shopping withhttp://www.chapterhousestudios.com/ about a week ago. I got my self 10 jump packs and this land raider upgrade kit. I have wanted a forge world MkIIb-LAND-RAIDER for my Aduptus Custodies for quite some time but at over 100$ for the kit I just could not bring my self to order it. But I did have a land raider siting around all ready.......

As far as the quality of the kit goes it's good not great but good. There were a few odd thin spots and some bubbles. But nothing that cant be fixed. Oh also some warping but a warm bath fixed that easily and that only happened with the thinnest spots.

over all the kit gave me the look I was going for and was at the right price point to get me to order it so I am happy with it. just be ready to fix some small problems if you decide to order one as well.

The jump packs I have not played with much so far but I am less thrilled with them so far. But I wont make judgments until I build the unit with them and clean them up quite a bit

there are more pictures on my blog if you are interested feel free to drop by. I am off to start painting!

thank you for spotting that I some how missed it. It's a good thing I got rather bust today and did not have a chance to start painting I can still get it under water with out any issues and fix that warping

I have the same kit. Sounds like the same problems too. Was one of the sides miss drilled for the spason? Also I am using the Reaper Auto cannons off of the defiler as heavy bolters, the barrels stick out futher and I feel it gives it a closer to the hearsy look when you consider when this raider was supposed to be made.

Yeah the one on the left side if you are facing it is a bit misshapen. But it works just fine when mounted. I was worried when I first looked at it but I did not mention seance it worked just fine with out me having to fix it.

the kit looks good but you can tell it's cast in some ones basement or something like that. It's not 100% pro design and they definitely could leave them in the mold for a little longer to prevent some of the warping. But as some one who has dabbled in resin casting I can appreciate the work that went in to this and I do believe that the kit is well worth the money.
